Collins, an outstanding dark brown stallion, was born in 1995 in Germany and imported in 1998 by the Stud. He began jumping with Linda and David Dobson. During his first year he firmly made his mark on the local jumping scene successfully jumping 1.45m. He campaigned with great success with Linda and David in the Eastern States of Australia in the latter part of 2001. Collins is by the famous stallion Calando I out of Z-Freya and is typical of the new type of sport horse currently favoured. He is a well-balanced stallion of 16.3 hands with generous strides and a natural elastic movement. He has lovely head carried on a beautiful neck, producing elegance, lightness and self-carriage. He has a willing temperament, with good character and an eagerness to please. He is an athletic and expressive riding horse. His powerful jumping shows excellent potential. Collins is clearly stamping his progeny with many of these assets. Collins stands at stud to approved mares only.
